General introduction

Mounts are a very efficient and quick way to get anywhere in the world of Runes of Magic. The allow you to move faster, get to places you couldn't get to before, etc.

Points worth noting

Price

The general mounts cost 199 diamonds and the more elaborate mounts cost 395 diamonds. Special mounts usually come from some sort of draw such as an orb, etc. so a set price cannot be assigned unfortunately. The exception to all of these is if there is a sale. Please note that if a price isn't assigned to the chart below, that means the mount is no longer available for direct sale.

Speed

The "classical" mounts are 55% faster than walking speed. The more elaborate mounts which cost twice as much are 10% faster (65% faster than walking speed). The exception are special mounts which can range from 55% to 75% and the Mammoth which is only 60% faster.

Capacity

Most mounts will only allow you to ride only one, but some do allow for two player to ride them at the same time. Currently, there are none that can be bought in the item shop. Examples of two-person mounts would be Flame and Star.
